I thought he threw some pretty good passes, but the Wisky DBs played a nearly perfect game against our Receivers.

Tommy did not play well for 4 quarters... that is what we needed out of him.

I'm unsure when is the last time NU played a complete game? Consistency seems difficult to do for this team. Very proud of the effort.

The fact is this was a dead even ball game. Not sure what your idea of respectable is but there are 11 guys on the other side that have a lot to say about how a game goes . We gave as good as we took, we are out manned on the O line that much is clear, we played 4 more than respectable quarters

I think if he hadn't slowed down and had crashed into the LB, it would have been called. Still think it was PI, but him slowing down made it easier to not call.

He was thinking PI on the offense is why he slowed down

They weren't calling anything all night. They weren't going to start at that point unless it was completely obvious.

Or is that all internal?

...after a day of thought, I'm not so angry over the non call at the end, a ton of things could have gone different during the game. I'm more concerned with why they went deep twice in a row when they needed just 8 yards and knew it they had to go for it on 4th anyway.

Wiscy isn't penalized much period. Their 4Q penalty was their first in 7 quarters? Either very lucky or very disciplined.

TA has a bad habit (one of many) of going deep on 3rd or 4th down, when less than 10 yards are needed.
