Considering we've got a game under our belt, playing at home against an FCS team that has never beaten a P5 school. And this is ND's first game of the season on the road. Let alone the fact that the entire nation is laughing at Frost and Nebraska after last Saturday. This was "prove it" game on a platter. We're proving we absolutely suck.

I agree with you but ND only lost by 3 to South Dakota State last year. Not sure if we could pull that off this year.

• True freshman linebacker Ernest Hausmann started in just his second game as a Husker. He is just the fifth true freshman to start at linebacker for Nebraska since 1993, joining Dedrick Young (2015), Josh Banderas (2013), Nate Gerry (2013) and Matt Holt (2008).
• Nebraska scored a touchdown on its opening drive, moving 87 yards in eight plays. It marked the fourth straight game Nebraska has scored a touchdown on its opening possession of the game, dating back to last season.
• Nebraska nickel back Javin Wright blocked a first-quarter North Dakota punt, marking the Huskers’ first blocked punt since Levi Falck blocked a punt at Purdue in 2020.

We lack physicality on both sides of the ball. It is hard to get more physical during the season. That should have been a priority in the off-season.

Played better week 0 against NW in the first 3 qtrs than they have at all against a fcs level opponent in the first half...

He's looking to the future, so unless there is a complete collapse, mutinous locker room, or serious NCAA violations, Frost will probably finish out the season. That way, no prospective coach (or big-time donors) could have any reservations about Nebraska having given Frost every reasonable opportunity to succeed.

I don't think it's possible to argue against the fact that Frost has been given every opportunity to succeed. This is frickin North Dakota. It should be 28-0 by now, AT LEAST.
