Different era yes but back in the 90s and early 2000s we never had bye weeks except maybe the Black Friday game.
They didn't play any differently today than they normally have for four years. Maybe a few less false start penalties, but by and large, that is our team, and has been since SF took over. Losses to good teams are still losses, even if the score is close. Losses to bad teams or just ordinary ones have become what we should expect.
Our coach is and has been over his head in this job. Nice guy, but this is too big a job for him.
Worst AD decision in years was his contract extension. All of what we are seeing was clear at that time.

That makes sense. That program was near death. Only a warden could rehabilitate it.
Lincoln Riley benched his preseason Heisman QB for poor play and won the game with his back up. Just one more indictment of Frost. Is he really that stubborn or is he truly that bad of a coach? Or both?
How in the world do you recruit to this program right now? sell-out streak - lets be honest, that is a fantasy? 5 national titles before they were born? great facilities - everyone has that now?? A ton of losing??

I’ve been playing nice on here because I get killed by certain posters when I say what I think. They want to be cheerleaders. I want a winning football team.
While no one could successfully argue that AM is clutch, he is better than most realize. Doing a lot with very little on the Oline.
NEVER has AM had a good line and snap to work with. Oline, kicking, and some coaching are the trouble spots for Nebraska.
Kicking is new this year. The other two... Consistent for at least 4 years.

Stop with that rational thought. They were just too tired today and with MN coming off a bye week it just wasn't fair.
