Nine days after committing to Huskers, Jamoi Hodge reopens recruitment

Nebraska's 2020 recruiting class took a small hit Thursday.

When asked by The World-Herald for a reason why he decommitted, Hodge texted, “Ask the coach. I don’t have nothing to say.”

Regardless of the reason, and reading between the lines, that certainly sounds like NU cut him loose.

What I don't get is we have a team coming off 3 straight losing seasons, we have a decently rated juco LB who wants to come here to play football, we also have a team that is lacking talent, especially at his position. So why does our coach tell the kid that he doesn't have a place on this team anymore? Unless Micah Parsons is tranferring to NU, this doesn't make much sense to me. Even if Parsons were to transer it still doesn't make much sense to me.
