Eight in B1G ranked in the top 33
I think the Polar Bear would do well but he won't find it soo easy if he wrestles in the rest of our duals and B1G tournament. I think he would do better than anyone we currently have at 285! If he wrestles in the rest of our Duals he will have to face 5 ranked wrestlers in Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Penn St, and Arizona St.

Yes, added to that is the fact most of these ranked wrestlers are SRs and have been wrestling at the DIV I level for a couple years. I would really like Nash to really well but it won't be near as easy as his H.S. years.

Also, the guy he pinned has 2-4 record so he was a confidence builder. I would have liked to see how he would have done against the UNI wrestler who is ranked at #17 with a 3-1 record.

Had Nash stuck with wrestling and barring injuries he’d most likely be one of the favorites this year for a NC. Parris, Cassioppi and Steveson are all gone now and he’d be having some battles with Kerkvliet

Another Dr. Death? Reminded of Steve Williams who played for the Sooners and wrestled back in the day. Saw him at a couple National Championships in the 80's, I think.

A lot of chatter on X along the lines of, "Yeah, well Kirkvliet (PSU) will show him..." Well, yeah, it's not really fair to expect him to given they've dedicated themselves to different sports. I'm sure if you gave Kirkvliet 60 days to go across from Nash on the football field he'd get his rear handed to him.

I think any win Nash is able to get this year will be an accomplishment after 4yrs away. There’s just no amount of drills and practice in the wrestling room that can make up for the development that comes from live matches.
