Perhaps...or maybe Goodwin...heard talk there maybe a surprise on signing day....guess we will see....

What changed is we are full and the coaches made a strategic decision that we will have to wait and see what is is...

Thanks RR...remind me who Goodwin is? I saw his name in the last few days, but can't recall his story...

I'm hearing the same thing....which is why Valentine decided last night....coaches pushed him for an answer....

Which is actually a good and bad thing....good in that we have prbally landed most if not all of the targets on our board....bad in that you hate to turn a talent like this away.....probally Iowa bound....

If this is true and Nebraska is turning down a talent like Quanzell Lambert, even though he would be LB #5, I would have to assume Nebraska is in good shape with Devin Fuller and even Evan Goodman. I know they would take 2 DTs, but if it came down to it I take Lambert over Aaron Curry in a numbers crunch. I think Alonzo Moore and Devian Shelton are Nebraska's top players on their board (other than Peat, Fuller and Goodman). Then they are gonna take Vincent Valentine (most likely) and they just got their RB in Cross.

Could their final commits be Andrus Peat, Devin Fuller, Evan Goodman, Alonzo Moore, Devian Shelton and Vincent Valentine?

Misspelled his name....its Evan Goodman....4-star OT who is a soft commit to Arizona State...
Hmmm...we sure are taking more Olineman this year than I expected considering our good haul last year...some of them not going to pan out and the staff knows it?

Forgot to ask...any clue what the "surprise" would be on signing day? seems like the big fish still is peat, but it appears he's N, so that wouldn't really be a surprise....

Wait...wasn't it curry the coaches turned down cause we're full, not Lambert?

I've heard Evan Goodman is looking good....and if that is true then yazzooo....:)

I misunderstood your post earlier RR. When I saw Iowa as the team you felt the kid was going to...I assumed Lambert because they likely were 3rd in his original decision. Aaron Curry...duh. ;)

I think it means the same thing though. Nebraska likely knows they have commitments with Alonzo Moore and Vincent Valentine. Husker fans should be excited. To have a run in the last couple weeks with earlier top talents like Evan Goodman and Quanzell Lambert is a big bonus. They could pull either, neither or both and really it would be gravy at this point because they are in on other top kids already anyways. If they are turning down Aaron Curry, I think it means something positive plain and simple. How could it not?
