Absolutely gutted that my first post in ages is so negative, but Sims is not the guy.

Posting simply to bathe in the glory and recognition that is absolutely warranted and necessary. There are many, many people that got me to this point in my life. I'd mention them by name, but they're insignificant. Where would I be without HuskerPedia/Max...besides rich and famous?

I see that as a decision for the 3rd or 4th string QB...the thought of NEVER seeing the field. But being the 2nd string, behind a kid that hasn't taken a snap in almost 2 years, in an offense where it's extremely conceivable to get dinged up...that's a scenario that could absolutely place you...

Wait, sticking it out as the 2nd string means you hope the dude in front of you gets hurt? Really? I seem to think it's more prevalent for the 2nd string to be ready to go IN CASE that happens. Sure hope He got promised the starting job at OSU, cause if not, he's running out of eligibility.

Maybe if you're 3rd string or worse, sure. Second string? In a close competition? With the style of offense being run? True freshman in front of you? Man, all of those reasons scream stick it out to me.

Hmmm...don't see where the OP blames any of this on Gebbia. Just questioning the kid's decision.

Not seeing how the OP is incorrect here. Gebbia, had he remained, would have had the opportunity to lead this team to a win today. He may have had the opportunity to do so for several games coming up, if not for the season. Any second string player is one snap away from starting.

We simply do not have the players to keep up with this team.

The OL is just flat out getting rolled. Lee has to be worried each and every time he drops back that he's going to get crushed. That has to play with one's psyche.
