Frost and Pelini, with Frost only a slight nod ahead. Then Callahan, then Riley. I was hopeful and optimistic about all of them, though really, because I choose to be that way. I took Solich as a given and wasn't really evaluative. Osborne I was too young to have an opinion, but not by much. Definitely wanted Pelini ahead of Gill, even though I loved Gill as a player.

At Okie State (beatdown)
Beating Clemson, GA, and spanking AZ
Spanking down KSU at their place
Keeping OU from scoring a TD in Lincoln
Beating Texas, minus 1 second
Beating MSU and PSU on the road
Within a shade of beating VA Tech there

We got beat down a few times during the pelini era, but we darn sure bloodied some noses, too.

The opponent always knew it was going to be a fight at least.
