True. But that doesn't devalue his opinion. I wouldn't want to hire him as NU's next HC though.

Right.....what I am saying is some people are better coaches than they were a player and vice versa.
Oh, no, and that's a fair point.
There can be a fuzzy line between making high-level general criticisms, and low-level specific criticisms, however. I think we're all football-savvy enough to recognize that the assistant coaches are supposed to get their specific guys ready to play. If we don't see that happening, we can reasonably argue that the coaches aren't doing their jobs well, even if we ourselves don't know exactly what they should be doing different.
Had Tommie Frazier said something like "It's time to get a DL coach in here who knows how to use the Tango Whiskey Over-6 Slap Squirrel 4-gap scheme!", his questionable coaching experience would be something valid to bring up. As it is, he just said what a lot of people are thinking: the current stable of coaches is doing something wrong.
