The Colorado circus continues to entertain everyone....

I don't expect Nebraska to just win that game. I think its going to turn into a beat down. Colorado will probably have a closer than comfortable win over NDSU and then leave Lincoln with lots of question marks. I expect their season to implode spectacularly.

As far as this article, guys don't transfer out because or a rap concert if they don't think Shedeur is a tool and that they're on a sinking ship anyway.

i hope it turns into a beatdown, but i think people need to not assume that it will be a cakewalk for Nebraska. no matter how dysfunctional or poorly led a team is, a core group of really fast and talented WRs , QB and CBs will always give you a chance. heck, last year, Nebraska lost to michigan state and wisconsin that way even though we were clearly better. We just couldn't take advantage of their weaknesses.
On paper, they have the edge vs our secondary, and our special teams isn't where it needs to be. plus, our starting QB is going to be either a freshman in his first night game or a Haarberg who has clear deficiencies.
I'm just saying, don't get drunk on the koolaid just yet. a sinking ship may still have a few working guns.

You people will believe anything that is anti-CU or paints the program in a bad light. LMAO.

The truth is Lil' Wayne invited Shedeur to perform right before the show and his dad didn't even know he was going to go on stage and perform.

I'm sure you also believe that the roster is trash and didn't drastically improve through the portal, especially on the O-Line.
That's fine. The truth will be known on September 7th.

First, where did I say I believed the story as told?
Second, who cares about Shedeurs rap really

As for the O line improvement, there'll be some, likely maybe even a small bump if they'd retained the guys they had with another year under them.
You do have one good D lineman. But you also have a very figured out offense.
Lets see after game one

You are spot on. I expect a dogfight. I still think they have an overall depth issue with their roster, but its only the 2nd game of the season so that won't be an issue for CU that it could be later in the year if injuries start piling up.

They'll come in with confidence and proven skill players. We'll see how their "new and improved" O-line holds up and hopefully our QB (whoever it is) doesn't decide to just hand the ball over to CU's defense.

Thanks. I Agree. The 2nd game thing is double edged for them. They’ll have less injuries, and depth issues likely won’t factor too much for them, but they also won’t have had enough time to build chemistry. Because of that, I expect us to run the ball with ease all night, and hit at least a few play action passes. I expect penalties to be huge in our favor.

Our main weakness currently looks like our secondary, so that’s a huge concern for me, in addition to this weird thing where Rhule sometimes seemingly underestimates things that could be really big issues. Some of it is not self inflicted, but it doesn‘t always help and it makes him look silly at times when he doesn’t seem to have any ideas for “worst case scenarios”.

What or who is a Shaduer and why should we care?

We had four turnovers last year in their house. Flip that the bluffs don't stand a chance.
So a hollow victory in my eyes as our offense was created on the field that game and our defense was still discovering itself.
On average a turnover is worth about 5 points in cfb

Being that we lost by 22 at their house and we had a turnover of our own, we lost by 7 points playing out the odds, at their house, so minus 3 or a four point win.
None of this is linear or guaranteed, just averages.
So yea, the offense will be hugely more effective, the defense more settled. I see us winning

I think our D line will give their O line fits. I know their O line will look different this year, but our guys are going to be a handful for any team this year and their line isn't going to be mistaken for top 10 O-line. And this year our D won't have to wonder which team our QB is playing for.
