That contract for Scott from UCF is impossible and here is why:
"Cody Kalinowksi, a senior finance major, attends many UCF football and basketball games by paying hundreds of dollars—$14.32 per credit hour—through a student athletics fee tacked on his tuition."
"The AAC signed a six-year, $126 million deal with ESPN that expires in 2020, which UCF shares just $2 million annually."
These statements are from a July 2017 article on financing of the UCF athletic department. It like several of the Florida commuter colleges is largely dependent on student fees and donors to pay for athletics hence the recent call for donors for the "keep Scott fund".
Thus no way on Gods green earth they could pay a $5million a year contract.
