I don't really think that's the deal at all. From the LSJ article, it appears that LA-Lafayette approached him and asked him to visit. He did and fell in love with it. It's that simple. Obviously unlikely he'll ever be a Husker now, but you don't need to paint him in this kind of picture simply because he appears to have fully parted with the Huskers now. I guess you can knock him for not honoring any prior contracts he signed but could get out of, but hey he's a kid and he wants to follow his heart. Don't knock him for that. If his academics were better then he would have been a Husker. Leave him alone.
