Amen. This AD has big boy cash. No reason to sit on it and try to win on the cheap. You could argue Moos got the two most coveted coaches in football and basketball. Florida and the big boys were coming after Frost in football, UCLA and others were after Hoiberg in basketball.
Glad we ponied up and got what we wanted.
Too soon. Biggest initial job for Hoiberg is to make Roby comfortable coming back. The walk-ons can play another year if they wanted to, and Borchardt would be good to have. I don't know that Nana comes back, and that may have been determined under Miles. Thomas Allen has options, think he would want to play under Hoiberg. I'm interested in Hoiberg getting Mika Adams-Woods and Jervay Green to stay committed. Karrington Davis - no idea. Looking forward to Jace Piatkowski as the new walk-on. Thor and Heiman stay for sure unless they are run out. Dachon Burke should want to play uptempo, but we'll see. I think Akol Arop will want to be at Nebraska as well.Anyone have an idea on how many players will be leaving? If any.......or too soon to tell?

At least it didn't go back any farther than '98.Read that article and let those stats sink in for a minute ... not that we didn't already know Nebraska has been irrelevant in MBB of course, but the realities penned in that article are sobering.
I wonder why Hsu and Plona were on this list with no connections?
Does this mean we are a basketball school instead of a volleyball school now?
Not waiting to eat the pudding nor will I play hindsight. Moos took absolutely who he should have, and quite honestly had to overcome a lot to get Hoiberg.
Whether Frost and Hoiberg work out or not, Moos got the most sought after coaches during the hires. “It wasn’t the right decision” in 2022 quite literally can’t be stated. There will be someone hired that does better than Frost or Hoiberg, but no one has a crystal ball.
