Greg Schiano to bucs?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7505668/tampa-bay-buccaneers-close-hiring-rutgers-scarlet-knights-greg-schiano-coach-sources-say

So does this increase our chances of getting Fuller signed? If true, I would think yes.

I'll wait until the ink is dry. If this happens, not only would it help Fuller, but maybe open Lambert up again??

I'm not sure we will get Lambert even with this news. I think his second was Bama. And we all know Bama has a different set of rules they go by with recruits.

It was down to Nebraska and Rutgers for Lambert.....his thoughts on going to Rutgers were to be close to family. A new coach may have him re-think that but this is the first i'm hearing of Schiano leaving so a lot of things will develop today. Coaches will be on the phone for sure...

Wow, could there be any worse time for a college hc to change jobs less than a week before nsd? Could really hurt their recruiting haul (and help some others).

Yea and they have a pretty decent class with J.J. Denman, Ryan Brodie, Chris Muller, Leonte Carroo, Steve Longa, & Ruhann Peele. All are top notch recruits.

ESPN as they are want to do jumping the gun.....they have a history do doing that....

A story from 20 minutes ago from a NJ paper:

is "still considering" the offer from the NFL team and hasn't formally agreed to a deal just yet, according to a person familiar with the situation.

rutgers will also in on 2 other top 75ish players if Im not mistaken, and most experts were predicitng them to go to rutgers. I dont have the names, but pretty bad timing.

Final or not, what would you do? Where would you rather coach? New Jersey or Tampa? Duh.

I know I am commenting without any first hand knowledge of either position, but I think I would rather coach college than pro.
