And walked away alive!
He was bringing home a tractor and pulling behind him a dirtmover! The truck driver must have fallen asleep because he just rams him from behind!
Dad was in our biggest tractor and we believe this is the only reason that he is still alive! The only injury dad has is by glass cuts on the back of his head were he had to crawl through the back cab window to get out! The tractor, dirtmover and semi were totaled:eek:


The Skunk is very very happy that I have to replace a John Deer 4640 tractor and a dirt mover, but that I still have my father!




PS I did kid him though that he was driving my corn planting tractor!

If you all will thank God for me I appreciate it!

Sorry to hear the bad news but glad to hear the good news.

Nothing runs or takes a hit like a DEERE.
 



Pictures Skunk... pictures! I just got an e-mail of a deer gett'n hit by a train. Turns out it was a John Deere and the kid driving it walked away as well. The engine was completely removed from the tractor and laying quite a ways away... but it was still running!
Glad to hear Dad is good, you're both very lucky!
 







It still has not hit home yet!

I look at the tractor and wonder, How???? How could dad just walk away from that??

Like I have said in the past, when you get in a fight with someone you love, you best just reach out and grab them and give them a hug!!
I know I will be hugging that ole coot a lot in the next few days!
 
Glad to hear he is okay....the wife grew up on a ranch in South Dakota so he said she is glad he is okay too....
 

Old farmers are tough dudes. Glad Pops came out of this accident relatively unscathed Skunk. That is truly good news.
