There were 56 of 62 OVs used; 26 with Riley's staff and 30 with Frost's staff. That leaves 6 OVs that the staff can use for Spring Game OVs or other OVs during the spring. Those 6 OVs are available because Riley only used 50 during the last academic calendar year. The OVs reset in the fall, and NU will only have 56 OVs for the 2018-2019 academic calendar year.

National Letter of Intent Signing Dates
Early Signing Period: December 20-22, 2017
Midyear Junior College Transfer: December 20, 2017-January 15, 2018
Regular Period: February 7, 2018-April 1, 2018

Tutt said a day or two ago he will be in Lincoln for the Rutgers game

Nate Clouse said Crocker will be here for the Arkansas State game

Micah Parsons

"I only have two official visits planned so far and I'm trying to figure out the rest," he said. "I'll be at Nebraska for the Wisconsin game and Ohio State for the Penn State game. We haven't decided on the final three visits yet. We need to look at dates and who they are playing. We play a lot of Saturday games this year so it's a little hard.

"At Nebraska I liked how everything is so close together, the facilities, the coaching staff, how coach Riley really believes in turning things around at Nebraska and bringing back championships," said Parsons. "They have one of, if not the, best facilities that I've seen on all my visits. They just really stick out to me.

"I was at Ohio State for Friday Night Lights," he said. "Everything is going well with them still."

Parsons has set his visit for the Wisconsin game. Pretty positive write-up

Parsons has told Adam Friedman of Rivals that he’s set with two visits for this season, his leaders. While he’s planning on visiting Ohio State for their game vs. Penn State on October 28th, he’ll be visiting Nebraska for the Wisconsin game first on October 7th. You know, the same game the Huskers will be wearing the 1997 throwbacks?

If you think defeating Urban Meyer & the Buckeyes is just a pipe dream for Parsons, I invite you to read this from Micah himself. He thinks very, very highly of Mike Riley, John Parrella & the entire program in Lincoln:

"At Nebraska I liked how everything is so close together, the facilities, the coaching staff, how coach Riley really believes in turning things around at Nebraska and bringing back championships," said Parsons. "They have one of, if not the, best facilities that I've seen on all my visits. They just really stick out to me.”

Look for a big visitor list for that game, folks.

RIVALS' REACTION

Parsons seems to have made it very clear that Ohio State and Nebraska are now his top two contenders with teams like Florida State, Alabama, USC, and Penn State trailing. Those four schools are just some of the contenders for Parsons' final three official visits. It still feels like Parsons will end up in Columbus when all is said and done but Nebraska certainly made a big impression this offseason and could be changing the tide. His visit to the Lincoln campus blew him away and the coaches, along with the players and current recruits, have really embraced him. Parsons has said for a long time that he wants to take all of his official visits so don't expect an announcement before he finishes with those visits.

Yup that is the way I read it too.

For the longest time I thought he would end up in Columbus too but I am starting to think that we have a real shot here

Based on this he may make his decision soon:

On Thursday, Bush confirmed that he had set up and locked in one of his five official visits. He will be traveling to Lincoln, Neb. to check out the Huskers for one of its top tilts of the season.

"October 6th for the Wisconsin game," Bush confirmed. "I'm going to take all five officials. Nebraska is the only one set right now."
