Dabo's earned it. He's transformed that program into one that is on-par with Alabama. I've always been a huge fan of his. I'll always remember basically being laughed off this board when I said he was a good coach circa '08 when Nebraska was prepping to play them in the Gator Bowl IIRC. Then when I said they'd be playing for a NC within 5 years after they hired Venables to run that defense, the mocking was palpable.
Impossible, NU recruits go down in ranking after committing. Or maybe that was just what happened historically.

Keeping Venables is his top coaching achievement. I like Dabo, but keeping a top-tier DC for so long is nearly unheard of.
Kudos to the school for paying him what he deserves too.
