Another reason we should probably temper the optimism for next season. We just don't have the talent to match up with the better teams in the league. We are still a year or two away, if we get there at all.
I think we will take a big step forward this year. 
I guess we should just give up now. We'll never be good again.

We were a touchdown away from beating Ohio State last year. A dearth of draft prospects does not mean we should give up on this season.
The pre-season prognosticators are wearing me thin. On one hand, NU is a top 25 team going into the season with a serious Heisman candidate under center. On the other hand, we are void of NFL talent and should just pack in it now and have no expectations for this season.

UCF DT Trysten Hill was drafted by Dallas in round 2, #58 overall.I believe UCF got zero players in 2019 NFL draft.
