4/23 Kansas State 6:35 pm - 51 RPI, 0-2 vs. Wildcats this year
4/26 Creighton 6:30 pm - 61, it's Creighton
4/27 Oklahoma State 11 am - 68, gaudy 27-10 record, B12 Rival, Typically a HQ opponent
4/27 Oklahoma State 3 pm
4/28 Rutgers 1 pm - 42, Preview of Coming attraction
5/04 Indiana 2:05 pm - 15, Home series against best team in B1G!
5/05 Indiana 1:05 pm
5/06 Indiana 12:05 pm
5/10 @ Minnesota 6:35 pm - 87, Near Top of B1G Standings
5/11 @ Minnesota 2:05 pm
5/12 @ Minnesota 1:05 pm
5/14 @ Creighton 7 pm
5/16 Michigan 6:35 pm - 134, Wolverine sweep could position NU well for the tourney
5/17 Michigan 6:35 pm
5/18 Michigan 1:05 pm
5/22-25 Big Ten Tournament - NU's Chance to Clinch Postseason in Pro Ballpark (Minneapolis)

Mixing the TD Ameritrade Classic (Creighton, OSU, Rutgers) into the middle of conference play is genius. This staff gets the scheduling strategy necessary when in a weak RPI conference and convinces me that there are good times ahead for NU if the pitching comes around.

It will be awesome to see some relevant Nebaseball again! :huskerflag:

Actually it was Creighton who put that together...

Actually, the pitching has come around. The question is, will we maintain the good pitching!

Hopefully, so. I am sure enjoying it, lately. :)

If we are first place wouldn't that make us the best in the Big 10 and not Indiana? :wow:

Well, then Creighton is genius and I appreciate their help.

FYI. This from Shatel today:

Creighton baseball coach Ed Servais said Nebraska officials were behind this weekend’s four-team tournament at TD Ameritrade Park. It’s a great idea. Front and center: NU and CU facing off on Friday night with — drum roll — Friday night starting pitchers going at it. That’s a rare thing. Speaking of rare, it’s supposed to be sunny.

So if the season ended today you still go with Indiana, lol. Red Sox can't be in first as they have not played everyone. :)

By your method, after one game last football season, Indiana was better than Michigan and Purdue far outpaced Penn State.

The fact that Indiana has already "clinched" a post-season spot makes them the league favorite.
