Sorry to see him retire. I guess time marches on. God bless you, Coach, and take care of your health.
I forget he’s not a spring chicken.
His big game against Air Force in 1965 was played when I was a toddler.

I posted my comment with clearly tongue in cheek. If someone thought that was serious then they need help.Frank is 76 years old, almost 77. I question the common sense of anyone who seriously wanted to consider Frank for the AD job.
Well, he didn't have your mom chasing him with a wooden spoonAnd a little faster.
I sent you a PMWas in high school at Holy Name while he was our coach for a couple of years. One day I was delayed for some reason and the crowd was gone. Went scurrying out backside of building by gymnasium and he was standing outside by himself with hands on hips. Nodded at him and continued on. He smiled and said to have a good evening. There was no saving Holy Name, the school was dying. Was happy to hear he landed at NE.
What are you talking about? I quoted and referenced a post from someone else. Do you have two accounts?I posted my comment with clearly tongue in cheek. If someone thought that was serious then they need help.
great cover. Loved watching #45 play.Coach Solich was a speaker at a Californians for Nebraska banquet when he was head coach at Nebraska. He signed a few Sports Illustrated covers for me including this one for my Mom. One of my best memorabilia items.
He was Huskers. Pelini knew it and said so many times.Congrats to coach Solich on a great career! He's always going to be an important part of Husker history.
I wish him the best on the next leg of his life journey.
