Interesting that the SEC's start date is so different than the Big 10's. Most or all Big 10 teams may complete three games (30% of the season) before any SEC team takes the field. Teams like OU and Kansas are starting even earlier than the Big 10.

Another example of Notre Dame getting their cake and eating it, too. ACC bailed them out by allowing them, an INDEPENDENT in football, to be part of their conference while all of the other independents are more than likely twisting in the wind.
