The 2018 year would have been his redshirt year if he only played in four games this season. He'll be a redshirt senior in 2019.

What position does he play... sounds like a NG, how is he supposed to play alongside his younger brother if they both play the same position?

Partially trying to answer my own question from front page... OSU ran a 4-3 until this year’s 4-2-5.

Is he a NT or a DE here?
 
If nothing else, you gain experienced depth at a position of need who also has a younger brother on the roster. Nothing but upside here, and who knows? Maybe he flourishes.
 



Started 10 games in 2017 for Oklahoma State. Thought so highly of his leadership that even after his season ending finger injury he traveled with the team on the road
