Spoke about culture and said it has improved a lot since he arrived

Said the players are leading that culture change which is very important

Said leaders have taken it up a notch

Coach C up next on defense
 
Chin excited to have vets back

Young guys need to get reps too but older guys bring leadership and 6 extra coaches so to speak
 
Lot of guys going through Spring for the first time

He loves Spring ball as he can work with young guys and watch them get better

Young guys are the foundation so important to get to work with them
 



J Wright will play multiple positions as is Gifford (ie LB and S)

Said giving guy like Jo Jo a breather this year is important
 
Talked about the transfer LB from N Iowa and said he is a guy who is a self starter etc. Said coaches at UNI spoke very highly of him. Just a very good player
 
Agreed culture is more player led

Guys who came back along with Cam have banded together in a leadership role on defense.

Cam has really stepped up as a leader in the CB room

Really likes the leadership
 




Who will replace Bootle? Wants to see a lot of guys play and find out will step up. So a lot guys will fight for that spot

Obviously looking for more than two CBS. Looking at rotating 3 to 4 guys
 
Big Picture realistic for this defense?

Get better every day in Spring and Fall Camp is key so they can fix little things in season
 
As many of us already know and have spoken about Spring and Fall Camps are huge never more so in my opinion this year and all three of the top coaches emphasized that
 



Jo Jo up first

Wants to return the team on the road to a winning tradition

Each of the six guys bought into that who returned
