Considering how insane Maher is (He's not Henery level insane, but hes still insane) and how when he misses 50 yard field goals people ask "whats wrong with him," I'm curious to see how husker nation reacts to merely a "good" kicker. Should be fun to watch.
Of course maybe we'll just go 3 for 3 with top 5 kickers nationwide? I sure hope so...

I like my story better.
Wisconsin is struggling this year with their kicker. An argument can be made that their kicker cost them the Nebraska regular season game.
In fairness though Nebraska's last two kickers were orginially walk-ons. We've been a bit fortunate too!
He has also missed two FGs in the 30-39 yard range and two FGs in the 40-49 yard range.
Compared to last year ... he missed one FG inside 50 yards.
Punting has been a lot less consistent where he's averaging nearly 3 yards per punt less and is 7th in the conference for punting. very pedestrian performance.
Last I heard we was going to. Another good one.
I think they are going to ask Darrin Erstad to come over and work with him on punting :banana:

I have a sister 12 years older....but that is crazy stuff there...
Out of my 5 brothers two are twenty years older than me. The closest in age to me is 9 years older. The brothers say I was an accident but mom said I was a blessing!
My sis is 15 years younger. Doctor said she was a tumor; sometimes I think he was right.
