Sounds like a solid plan.... I'mIf we win nine games next year with our schedule, SF should repeat as Coach of the Year.

I’m not making many predictions just yet. Personally think the team has the talent to win 8 to 9 games. However, there are many unknowns (QB race). What I really want is a bowl win and the team to be ranked in the 2019 preseason polls. Even if they don’t mean jack crap.09/01 Akron w

11/03 @Ohio State
11/10 Illinois w
11/17 Michigan State w I think that MSU is going to have a tough year.
11/23 @Iowa w It's Iowa, Nebraska shouldn't be losing to the ditchchickens.
I don't think we lose more than one of the listed wins, and we may beat MICH, WISC, or OSU.
I think we finish with 9 wins in the regular season. I'd gladly trade MSU and WISC.
Good griefDude, even a monkey can win 9 games at Nebraska. Are YOU saying that Scott Frost is not better than a monkey?
This. And I would be happy, not just settle, given this schedule. It should have us looking to 2019 with optimism. It will be a bumpy road. I would settle for a 7-6 and a bowl win.
I'm saying this is a troll thread.Dude, even a monkey can win 9 games at Nebraska. Are YOU saying that Scott Frost is not better than a monkey?

Yeah, I don't see MSU having the down year OP called for...but on the other hand, Wisconsin is losing a lot on defense.
Nine wins would be a very, very good season IMO.
With respect to the Northwestern, MSU and Iowa games, I need to see it first. I agree that the talent on the roster hasn't been used even remotely close to full effect, but I still have to see it.
Nebraska has more talent than all of them. Now, there are coaches here who know what to do with it. How quickly the transition comes together is key.Its not like those are three bad teams. They have been owning us a lot lately.

Watch out for Troy. #27 on 2017 Coaches Poll (final). Troy beat LSU and almost beat Clemson.

Huh? Why would you say Gebbia or even O'Brien don't fit his offense at all? I would agree if you were talking about Tanner Lee.Everyone needs to keep in mind that our starting QB is either going to be a true freshman who fits Frost's system, a Redshirt Freshman who sort of fits Frost's system, or a Redshirt Sophomore who doesnt really fit Frost's system at all.
