Need the win in this game to hold the tiebreaker over Indiana. A win and we should be no worse than tied for 4th. The MSU-PSU series in two weeks looms big.
 
We proabably will need to sweep Minnesota next weekend to have a shot at 2nd place.
 
Erstad on Game 2:

...can't throw strikes, play catch infield/behind game, make plays (very frustrated).
...pretty well established what pitchers need to do, Pierce needs to make the adjustment.
...Zach needs to set pace in game 3, on a short leash.
...didn't like timidity of team.
...players "getting on his nerves".
...going with typical right-handed line-up (Burleson at C, Stock at 1B).

Well, need the bats to get back to hitting in the clutch.

As said, too many things went wrong the 1st game.

errors and mistakes cost us dearly. Also, bb's need to
stop!!!
