Exactly. What % of kicks are returned in today’s game….25%?The return game in college, at the power 5 level, is almost non existent. So few kicks even have a chance for a return anymore. I mean, punt returns, the dudes are right on you, while you’re waiting for the punt (What happened?). Kickoffs, 75% + go out of the end zone, or are fair caught. I hope he can help in the slot, or as a specialist somewhere else.
Probably less than that.Exactly. What % of kicks are returned in today’s game….25%?

Interesting.
Interesting.
Academics?
No inside stuff, but have we focused our eyes elsewhere with him as a backup plan? Maybe didn’t want to take that chance and jumped on opportunity he had..
If he’s not going to be an immediate upgrade at WR (I have no idea) do we use that ship?
Elite KO returner
Backup plan to whom?
Was his offer committable? Are we giving out offers for a return specialist in today’s game when all we recruit is speed? ( many options, and as mentioned above by @Beareye kemp didn’t move the needle in return game and he was pretty good at VA)
I don’t know much about the kid or his abilities to be a WR specifically) but id hand out as many offers to WR 1st and find a returner second among them. Not the other way around.
