Nice to see us in the mix for these kids with a list of great offers. We won't get them all but that's recruiting. It is the reason this staff can turn things around. We had too many years where the list included teams like duke, Ohio, etc.
and we still lost them to those schools.
No interest in his father's alma mater (Illinois) apparently. Not much of a surprise given the current state of Illinois football and the boatload of better offers that he has. That can't be good for Lovie though.

It is awesome that we're making lists for these types of players. It only bodes well for the future. Like GI said, you can't get 'em all but being in consideration is the first step. It's great we aren't competing with the MAC for many of our players.
I had the very same thought. It's a smart list of powerhouse programs.
And Texas, ND and NU are on it? It's been a while but, hey...like the thought of us back in the elite.
