So far it does appear that he hasn’t lost THIS team yet. But as his recruiting and development continue to tank, it will become increasingly difficult to keep from losing future teams. I just don’t see any good long term results from taking a short term approach to the issue. SF hasn’t grown into the job in four years - he likely won’t if given another year…We have been better against weaker teams... and worse, too.
We beat Fordham, Buffalo, and Northwestern by a combined 136-17.
But we lost to Illinois and Minnesota by a combined 45-60.
It's a matter of consistency, combined with learning how to finish. It's obvious the team is still fighting, and that Frost hasn't lost them.
If it becomes obvious that he's lost the team, I'd be more willing to cut bait.
