This is true. We are probably the least prodigious school for NFL quarterbacks. Hard to believe we couldn't accidentally sign someone once in a while. Meanwhile, Southern Illinois had Romo. Sam Hartman is at Wake Forest. It's crazy how many random schools have produced great QBs when we've had zilch

I don't think it's all that important that we haven't historically produced NFL quarterbacks. We have produced some of the greatest at the CFB level.

And of course Mike Shanahan was offensive coordinator at Eastern Illinois in 1978.

Mickey and his Uncle Donovan visited AZ this weekend to see Bobby Newcombe's son and Dylan

It's a Dead Period so the could not have contact face to face but none the less could be at any games

All I know is the story I read about that quoted a Raiola family member and has never been refuted by them
