You bet. That was the last time we had any defense at all. Who was our nickle DB? (Edit, Dejon Gomes was a freshman then - but he turned into a good one in that scheme.). Larry Asante. PJ Smith, Eric Hagg, Matt O'Hanlon, we had some dudes in the defensive backfield behind Suh, Crick and company. And the DB coach? Marvin Sanders.

There certainly were some great DB's during those years. When Marvin Sanders and Carl left there was definitely a drop off.
