I had one ex player who I get a lot of my info from doubt it before the hire. He still supported it as he didn’t think we had other better choices. He had a son still playing. Half way through the first season he said SF wouldn’t make it three seasons because he was in over his head. A lot of talk and no show on Frosts part with too much unorganized seat of the pants decisions being made.

In spite of this I still believed in SF till halfway through Covid. So yes. I know of one guy who called it in the beginning.

So, he is 1 of 3, out of every 100. Pretty unanimous. Also, those people, the 3%, didn’t say much when he was hired.

I don’t remember anyone on here saying a word. Nor did the local, or national media. I did caution, about the public usually being wrong though. Lol

Depends upon the person. My wife liked Lincoln, New York City, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, London, GlenEagles, Oxford, Mexico, Hawaii, India, China, Rwanda, StPetersburg, and a few dozen other places. Liked them all and always found friends there, wherever there was.

And some don't adapt once they get more than 100 miles from home.

There are many similarities between the culture of Orlando and that of Lincon if one is willing to look for them.

I remember one or two guys chiming in that they weren’t sold, but most of the noise was about how bad it would be if NU failed to pull him home from UCF.

I got a Frost tee shirt and a Gettin Frosty thermal cup for Christmas that first year.

That issue has always been in the back of my mind. It was 1997, remember reading about it back then. IIRC, he won big one night, it became publicly known and TO found out about it.

I guess Gene Chizeck heard about it too and implemented a successful program of Auburn players winning at casino's.

Anyone that knows Scott Frost personally is not surprised…arrogant, lazy, narcissistic, unorganized, etc…

But other than those few minor flaws pal,I thought he was on a collision course to the National championship
