I remember his dad. I’m a baseball freak. Career journeyman, often injured. Not a lot of games played, but a relatively long career. 6 different teams I believe. Never a factor. Didn’t pan out like folks thought he would. 40-52 over his career. Appeared in 359 game over 11 years. 7.5 million over his career. Good money for a well traveled pitcher.

Only started 98 games out of the 359 he pitched
Best year was 2001 when he pitched 59 games in middle relief with a 4-1 record and a 2.52 ERA

Agreed for this recruiting success to continue we need to win games and look good doing it. The looking good to me means playing disciplined football
Ty Robinson and Nash Hutmacher are the only HS D-Line recruits I can think of in the last 5 or 6 years that would be in the discussion.
