Having a player that has to be continuously convinced to come to Lincoln may not always be a good scenario.

Exactly. Thats why we recruit them. To sell our program and show them that this is the place to be. Often times, these kids are looking for the school that is going to recruit them the hardest, and show them the most love.

If you want guys that don't need to be recruited at all, then we would have an entire roster full of walk ons because Nebraska doesn't have enough instate talent. We are Nebraska. If we want studs, we have to go California, Texas, or Florida, and put the work in. Simple as that.

You have to convince every recruit to come you're school. That's the basis of recruiting. And on Bookie specifically, he's visited twice on his own dime already this year, and likely will again for a game.
