Looked at his Twitter tonight. Not a mention of the NU visit. There were a couple about his Minnesota visit..
He is coming this upcoming weekend.
Well, that explains it!! Not sure why I thought it was last weekend. Big weekend coming up. I am curious why the staff isn't interested in his brother??
Link Kabadyundi is a mobile 7' who just doesn't have much basketball skill... I think he started playing late. He wasn't highly recruited out of high school, and he transfered to JC after one year. He played better last year, but he probably is going to be a project his whole career. I don't think he's an upgrade over Jake Hammond, but it would be tempting to take him and Tshimanga as a package. Also I don't think he's fast enough to play tight end.
I guess with the staff's lack of success bringing in a big man, I would take a chance on him. True, he won't be an offensive power. However, he is tall and mobile which would allow him to stop some of the action at the rim. He is also big enough that he wouldn't get cleared out on the low block. Even if he only gives you 10 minutes a game, it is better than expecting Jacobson and Morrow to anchor the middle during the B1G. I guess, what I'm saying is I would keep in contact and bring him in if needed.
