I’m not making many predictions just yet. Personally think the team has the talent to win 8 to 9 games. However, there are many unknowns (QB race). What I really want is a bowl win and the team to be ranked in the 2019 preseason polls. Even if they don’t mean jack crap.

Its not like those are three bad teams. They have been owning us a lot lately.

What I think is plausible and will certainly accentuate the (our) collective fan base hype / insanity is entering conference play at 3 - 0.

After that, playing on the road against Michigan, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Iowa & against teams that should be improved such as Michigan State or even Brohm's Purdue team gives me a good reality check.

Don't disagree, that's why I'm in full on 'Missouri Mode'. Show me. It can and I think will be done, but year one I think optimism is overriding reality in some cases.

Huh? Why would you say Gebbia or even O'Brien don't fit his offense at all? I would agree if you were talking about Tanner Lee.

They both ran fairly similar styles of offense in high school. If they can adjust to the tempo, they could fit just fine in Frost's offense.
