Yep, our errors were at critical times. But tOSU played really well, didn’t give us much at all. Their decision to play the toughest schedule in the country paying off as they have hit their stride after all the early losses.Well crap...We did not play clean enough today. Errors at key points. Disappointing. Ohio State is very good, but we helped them a bit today with errors at really critical times. Oh well.
They are.We expect a lot but have to realize they're still growing
They did play very well and we needed to match that high level of play but didn't today. They are really, really good.Yep, our errors were at critical times. But tOSU played really well, didn’t give us much at all. Their decision to play the toughest schedule in the country paying off as they have hit their stride after all the early losses.
So true. They set Allick better. Hard to understand why the setters don’t use the middles more— Cook raises it after most matches.Nobody has been able to set Hord all year.
It drives me up the wall also!Since they started trying to set middle more the setting height has been too low in most sets. Both Allick and Hord need about 6-12 more inches on the set and they can hit it straight down. Both can usually out jump the blocker when the height is there.
Because the sets are too low they are both hitting flat and not getting a strong downward kill. Drives me nuts as you would think they practice that and would have fixed by now.
