PSU overlooked the wrong team today.
They are bad. Today, Penn State was clearly looking ahead to next week. Clearly. It cost them. Badly.So maybe Illinois is not as bad as we thought?
Penn State is not a great team they are a two loss team not games they should have won
Not to mention the Iowa win over Penn State does not look that good now either
Iowa still needs to play us. They won't know what hit them.
I think deciding a game on overtime contests makes as much sense as shootouts in soccer and hockey. And I think those make no sense.
I think tie games are the best result of a game that ends in a tie after regulation. Iif you want to play one additional quarter the way the NFL does, I'm fine with that as a second choice.
But to give one of these teams a loss today seems to me to be simply wrong.

And while we're at it, why wasn't that play by the OK QB a forward lateral when he took the ball away from the teammate being tackled. Is it because it wasn't thrown but
simply taken out of his arms?

Penn State is solid. Not sure what you’ve been watching. They beat Iowa if they don’t lose their QB. Today, they were looking ahead, clearly.
They might be solid but they are not an elite Top Ten team
Who is, outside of Georgia so far, someone has to be in there. Everyone but georgia has had shaky moments this year.
