CO you know you can't attack another poster like this....nor was his response back to you fine either....

Lets please tone down the PAs or I will close this thread....I don't want to have to start issuing any Infractions either.....

I don't feel very good to begin with...so lets tone it down....

Thanks!

RR

Here is an observation from a very infrequent recruiting board poster...but a LONG time member.

The recruiting thread is for....INFORMATION. There are several posters here who provide a ton of useful information. Much is spot on, much is speculation off of their research. ALL of it is GREATLY appreciated.

However, Kid Nichels has become a constant, unpleasant distraction...the proverbial pimple on ones backside. I would suggest to anyone and everyone who interacts with this posting blight that the best policy would be to completely ignore his drivel and move on with each thread as if he simply doesn't exist.

To Kid Nichels...I would say, I have been a member for more than 10 years. I have seen only 2 or 3 others show up and make such an ass out of themselves as you have. Congrats! Carry on. Hopefully people take my advice and ignore you. You are a painful distraction to an otherwise fantastic place.

Anymore PAs in this thread by anyone and I will close the thread and Infractions will be issued....

Thanks,

Look I would agree that the odds of getting Bradley have taken a dive...but the Huskers are not out of this yet....

He has still not been cleared by Admissions (due to the holiday etc.) and yes that allowed a couple of other schools to get their foot in the door as we were able to do a week ago...he has to have a backup plan as there is no guarantee he will be cleared...

I've been saying it all along, and was ridiculed and berated because of it.

This statement is particularly obtuse. You haven't been ridiculed or berated because you said Bradley isn't coming to NU. I've attempted to point that out to you numerous times, to no avail as of yet. :banghead:

You've been ridiculed and berated for providing no evidence for your claims save your own pessimism while deriding those who don't agree with you because they aren't also sufficiently pessimistic. Meanwhile, you've also maintained that everyone else on here thinks with their hearts and not their minds but only you have a realistic perspective. For example, recall these broad brush strokes:

Not an SEC fan; however, I do live in SEC country. I notice that Husker fans seem to think with the hearts instead of their minds. I just try to provide a realistic perspective.

This has nothing to do with being a Husker fan. I'm a Husker fan through and through. I simply have a more realistic perspective than the rest of you.

Those type of comments are what earned you, justifiably, the derision you have received. It wasn't until yesterday you finally claimed some sort of insider knowledge as opposed to just your natural pessimism. But even that claim is questionable. For instance, is your insider knowledge someone close to NU coaches, Bradley, someone else? The exact timeline of events seems to question what type of source you supposedly have.

For all we know, your pessimism and not some insider source is what leads you to conclude that none of these talented prospects will commit to NU, and thus is the reason for your statements that none of the 3 JUCO transfers last week would commit (you weren't the only one who thought that BTW), nor would Bradley or Newby. If your pessimism informs your views and predictions, than why should we believe you have some sort of insider source? The end results are the same.

You also claimed that you said and knew Kneivel was coming here before he officially announced, yet no one has found any post of yours with such a claim, though at least two have tried and pointed that out to you (N2FL and ***).

I just have a gut feeling that he's going to stick with Tennessee. Sorry to be a Grinch but that's just the way I see it.

I'm still not biting on this one. I think he'll end up at Rocky Top.

While I may be wrong about him staying at Tennessee, I very well may be right that he won't be at Nebraska.

I said that Bradley and Newby will not be Huskers and I stand by that. Once again, let me reiterate that I hope I am wrong.

As previously stated, I was told that he would NOT be coming to Nebraska. My source was correct about that.

You've been all over the place.

You think he ends up at Tennessee, indicating you think he doesn't end up at Nebraska. You're gut tells you he'll end up at Tennessee, implying that your gut tells you he won't be a husker. You assumed he would stay at Tennessee, implying you assume he won't go to Nebraska.

You back off your claims somewhat by stating you may be right that he won't end up at Nebraska (well duh, but you may be wrong too.)

You say Bradley will not be a Husker and stand by that. You've been told that Bradley will not be coming to Nebraska. I guess you've got all basis covered no matter what Bradley chooses. Heck, you even stated multiple times that you hope you're wrong which covers you if Bradley does come to Nebraska after all.

Who knows what to make of all your positions. If you stand by the fact that Bradley will not be a husker and you were told so by your source, why hedge with the you hope you're wrong or you assume he won't, think he won't, or rely on your gut to tell you he won't?

Stick with your claims and stand by them or tone down the certainty and disparaging nature of them while being more respectful of all the husker fans on this board, including those that think with their hearts and minds, and have insider sources, yet come to the opposite conclusions as you do.

Is this the recruiting board or the Kid Nickel vs the world board?

Seriously, cutting through all the other garbage. Is this guy going to commit of what? What happened to all these Juco's that we were supposed to know about by now? Have we missed out on all of them?

Bradley is likely going to Auburn. Very likely we swing and miss on all the early JUCO enrollees and DTs
