In grocery stores back in the day when I was a struggling bachelor, they had bags of premade SOS. Put it in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes and then pour it onto some toast. It was actually pretty good.
this is where I got the idea for it.

lol, I was thinking I haven’t had any SoS since basic training either, with no plans on breaking that streak.

SOS was a staple growing up. Most of the time it was made with ground beef since it was cheaper. I have not had it in years.

I haven't had that in years. Almost forgot about that. My mom used to make it.
