Kind of odd....noon kickoff on a Wednesday, and playing Panama?
 
Panama has an (American) football team? And they are good enough to play in an NFL stadium?

On a more serious note though, it is a nice honor for Betts to be selected to the US team. Congrats to him!

They always play an international team. Sweden a few years ago as another example

Gives the kids from another country a chance to showcase their talents

Thus the name International Bowl

Most players in international bowl aren't on the level of top247 etc.
Cool concept. Think it was Australia a good time back. Should be a cool experience for Betts in any case.
 








Found it on the ESPN streaming site, suffered through the game, Panama was helplessly outclassed. Somehow missed the punt return. Betts was kind of lost way out on the left edge when he alternated in. There was a 5'7" unsigned RB from Texas that had jets though, a Wandale clone.
