As long as we play well and win, I don't care what we're ranked.
The Huskers need to take one game at a time.
First they need to beat the Badgers on a neutral field.
Then they can worry about rankings.
GO B1G RED!
Just by looking at this weekends matchups and the possible conference games matchups, it looks like we have a legit chance at Top 10 if we win the B1G just because some teams HAVE to lose ahead of us.
Here's how this weekend's games look like for ranked vs ranked teams with at least one of them ahead of us:
#13 Oklahoma vs. #21 Okie State (definitely jump OU if they lose, but OSU won't jump us)
#12 South Carolina vs. #11 Clemson (The loser falls behind us in the polls)
#10 Florida State vs. #4 Florida (Likely need Florida to win to jump either team)
#8 Stanford vs. #17 UCLA (possilby jump Stanford if they lose, but UCLA will be close to jumping us too)
#15 Oregon State vs. #5 Oregon (An upset definitely jumps OSU ahead of us and probably keeps Oregon above us too.)
Also, Bama plays Auburn, TAM plays Mizzou, ND plays USC, and Georgia plays Georgia Tech.
So, if you're keeping track, here's who you need to root for:
Okie State
Either Clemson or So. Carolina
Florida
UCLA
Oregon
Auburn
Mizzou
USC
Georgia Tech
Now, wouldn't that just be fun
Is there really that much difference between #8 and #11 besides the vanity of some Husker fans? Hint: No, there isn't.
Yes because down the road somebody will say Bo has only finished so many years in the Top10 out of 10yrs or something to that effect.
