Who here is going to the Illinois game?


I was there in ‘86. I believe they retired Butkus’s number that night. Some ceremony where he told the crowd to enjoy the second half and then rolled his eyes because of NU’s big lead. I think the Illini’s first play was a pick six by Brian Davis. Of course, my memory sucks and was probably a fullback dive for 3 yards. That visit is going to have to hold me for awhile. Would like to go to NW someday if in Chicago. Come to think of it, we played Illinois last time I was in Chicago, in Lincoln.
 



Unfortunately, this is the same day as my son's bachelor party. I was planning on going, since it's only about a 3 hour drive, but not now. We will be at the Purdue game in November.
