Bo, I'm concerned that lately you've been saying you don't know what's wrong with the team. Here's a few ideas of where you can start:

Teach the Team how to Tackle:

Discover Halftime adjustments:

Leadership:

Even better, I could PM *** on your behalf. Pretty sure if you listened to him, you wouldn't get embarrassed every 3 games or so.

Did you watch the halftime adjustment video? Pretty much undermines your point, as the speaker discusses how young players can't "flip the switch" at halftime and adjustments should be minimal.

It's amazing that you post stuff you don't even watch. But not surprising in the least.

I think Bo needs to fix himself before attempting to fix anyone or anything else.

Take someone who is financially irresponsible who feels miserable where their at, their solution is to leave and go somewhere else. Now they are miserable somewhere else and will continue the cycle/belief that it is where they are rather than taking a look in the mirror and figuring out it is not where you are, it is who you are.

If YOU watched the video, he's talking about YOUTH football, not 18-22 year old College Players. He also talks about adjusting to things they haven't practiced. If they can't master adjustments at this level, they shouldn't be playing the game.

Bo made adjustments this week. He took away the blackshirts. That will teach the players how to tackle.

As far as I'm concerned Bo has successfully killed the Blackshirt tradition. I'll bet next year he doesn't even bother with it. Just one more thing that pisses him off when reporters ask about it.

And I can think of 3 million reasons why this should piss the university, boosters, and fans off. Traditions established long before any coach arrive should be honored and embraced imo.

Actually listen to his reasoning because it applies the same at any level. "You don't ask a player at halftime to do something he hasn't been taught during the week." Right now, out D is in basics mode. They simply haven't had the time to learn the nuances of special adjustments because they are still getting the base packages down.

We see the same thing in UCLA's current offensive line, which is now starting three freshman due to injuries. They had to go completely vanilla against Oregon and couldn't adjust to what Oregon did in the second half.

It seems odd that the defense hasn't had time to learn the schemes, they've had since fall camp. How did Greg Robinson turn Texas around coming in after the 2nd game.

Pretty simple, they have 9 upperclassman and 0 freshman starting.

College kids grow a ton in 2 or 3 years. They also develop skills, even if they didn't have great defensive coaching prior to a change.
