We're relevant, but a lot of it is because our success is novel, and a rising program is a great story. Nothing wrong with that though - it's what happens when you improve.
When was the last time NU has won 6 of 7 conference games? As soon as the lightbulb switched on about playing defense this team became a very tough out. Actually pretty fun to watch, it's been a very long time since I've thought I couldn't round up five guys at the bar and compete with the Huskers.
Great job by the Huskers to get noticed. ESPN updated their bracketology and the Huskers are still not in the field or even last 8 not making it. I guess we need to just keep winning but a loss it seems might drop us out for sure?
