And we think we have it bad.
According to a CBS tracker, over 80 games have been postponed or canceled as of the middle of this week, about the same amount in both September and October, with a larger number in November. Of those, a few were scheduled and made up in October and November, but the bulk is scheduled to be made up in December. With the way the virus is spiking right now, it is not a risky assumption to conclude that more will be postponed or cancelled, and that a whole lot of those that have been rescheduled or postponed will never be played.
But I personally am glad we have had even this truncated a schedule. There usually is more than one game on a week, so I can get my football itch scratched.
