The number one key to winning in the NFL is a franchise quarterback. Trevor Lawrence is as slam dunk as a #1 overall pick will ever be. And he will have weapons to work with on offense -- both at RB and WR.
I really think it really comes down to how long he wants to stay in coaching. Those factors mean we just don’t know. I think if he stays around 5 to 7 years he could be really really good. He could also bail out after two years.
As HWM stated, he will have the biggest slam dunk #1 pick. Maybe since Peyton Manning? He definitely will have some weapons to work with. He’s got a shot if he hangs around a minute or two. It will probably take 2-3 years minimum to get it really rolling.
