How can he tell that when they haven't even played a game under Stoops yet? And he's a defensive specialist on top of that.

Kid must be psychic.........

Neal Brown is OC...kid is at least partially right about this one, although it may be an SEC nightmare for a WR under a buck fifty...

Brown's offense at Texas Tech was 2nd in the nation in passing offense, 12th in total offense and 16th in scoring offense. Brown is a disciple of the "Air Raid" offense, which means for the second time in two decades, we'll be seeing the offense popularized by Hal Mumme and Mike Leach at Kentucky.

Still adjusting to fighting Kentucky for recruits and losing them to Kentucky. Dont get me wrong I do not think the sky is falling as we are still getting our share of recruits. It
just surprises me Kentucky is having the success they are recruiting as of late. They have the SEC going for them and the name Stoops but not a lot else. They are a basketball school with no football tradition. Stoops has had success as a coordinator but has not been a head coach. Brother Bob has had great success as a head coach but brother Mike was great coordinator but not a good head coach. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out on the field. Stoops may prove me wrong and turn the program around he will have some challenges though.

I don't have a problem with that quote by TV. Its a nonstop throwing offense vs our offense that is geared more to 50/50 or a little bit more run. I think his point is valid.

But, where there is a problem at least form my perspective is the way TV made a spectacle of the whole thing, when in reality he is a 2 star recruit being recruit by mostly B Schools and is like a 145 lbs. I believe you should be more modest or at least be a major elite recruit before you make a spectacle like that

It may be that our coaches told him we may be full after Stewart committed. T.V. doesn't appear to be as good as our other reciever commits so IMO we didn't lose out on anything, not to mention he was only 145 lbs.

I don't think "losing" Williams is going to matter much two years from now.

Yep. I don't consider this a "loss" at all. It's July, we have commits from 2 APB/slot guys that are at the least comparable and possibly better...just a bit more under the radar than this kid was. I have no idea who is higher on our coaches' board, but they are pretty similar.

I am also put off somewhat by the spectacle he made...maybe not as much as some, but for a middle of the road player without BCS-AQ measurables, it was kind of excessive. I understand the desire for accolades, but it's kind of outside of our team's culture.
