FYI....hope some of those 43 text messages were from Husker coaches...:)

-Four-star Rutgers linebacker commit Quanzell Lambert isn't ready to commit one way or the other in terms of looking around or remaining committed to the Scarlet Knights. As is the case with many of these players, he's surprised by it and needs some time to think. He too recently committed to RU over Iowa and Nebraska. No word if other schools have been calling specifically to turn him, but I was told his coach had received 43 text messages in the 30 minutes before the story broke.

Looks like a few of the commits are going to look elsewhere according to the link....

I think we would find a way to make room for Q, but I am a recruiting rookie....LB seems to be a need losing David, he will be hard to replace

With Anderson, Brown, Afalava, & Rose........Lambert would give us 5 LBs this class, I'm think at least two would redshirt. Lambert and Anderson would be a great start to trying to replace David. It's a better start than we were able to do in replacing Suh (Owa to UCLA).

Yes we would....

This may get interesting....:)

Interesting comment...it implies that he is waiting to see who the next Rutgers HC will be. Do not know if many schools will keep a space open for him as NSD approaches and coaches look for ways to fill out their recruiting class.

They don't have the talent at LB to leave a kid like this "flat-footed", so I'm guessing he will stay (given the coach coming in has a scheme that fits what he is looking forward to performing in). Smart move by this young man and very respectable at that. Holding on to his word all while making sure he has a plan in case things go south.

Man, if we could pull this guy in that would really put the a cherry on top if we get the other guys expected.
