The two numbers is how I remember it being given for all home games the last couple of years. Would guess there was not much walk up for this so the larger number ( tickets sold) is probably a fair indication of season ticket sales.

I guess I've never looked closely at the box score. Wonder if that's a B1G rule, or were they doing that while still in the Big XII?
 

I am pretty sure it started before the Big 10. Will look at some old box scores on Husker.com tonight and see if I can find a starting point.
